Job Summary

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Circulating OR Nurse, you will work closely with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to adult patients, including older adults and geriatric patients
  • Work effectively within the operating suite, outside of the sterile field, and may be required to scrub and manage the preparation of operating instruments and equipment
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and employees
  • Stay up-to-date with policies and procedures specific to operating room nurses
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Minimum two years previous OR experience
  • Current Georgia license as a Registered Nurse
  • Current in CPR, ACLS, and PALS
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
  • Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nurses
