Providence College seeks highly qualified candidates for two tenure-track faculty positions in the Department of Nursing. As a member of our faculty, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of nursing education and contributing to the college's mission.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate nursing courses, including curriculum development and implementation
- Conduct research and scholarly activities in nursing education and practice
- Collaborate with colleagues to establish experiential learning experiences and simulation-based education
- Participate in departmental and college-wide service activities
- Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field
- Advanced professional training in nursing, with expertise in Medical Surgical Nursing, Public/Community Health Nursing, or Maternal Newborn Nursing
- Active unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Rhode Island or eligibility to apply
- Five years of full-time professional nursing clinical experience, with two years of teaching experience in a baccalaureate or higher degree nursing program preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Strong teaching and research skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
