About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kimberly-Clark. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial process control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model safe behavior at all times and actively participate in safety improvement activities.
  • Complete all formal and on-the-job training to develop technical expertise in areas such as Vision Systems, Reliance AutoMax, ControlLogix, and digital drive systems.
  • Read and use electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
  • Remove, repair, and install instruments, DCS components, and related equipment.
  • Set-up and operate test equipment associated with the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of industrial process control systems.
  • Identify patterns of failures and ways to design out failures.
  • Support the planning and execution of daily/weekly/shutdown activities.
  • Participate in cost-effective decision making.
  • Demonstrate collaboration by continually demonstrating professional behavior and actively participating in team activities.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology (electrical focus), or Electronics, or Industrial Electricity, or Instrumentation, or equivalent degree, or Military MOS.
  • Basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and good math skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening.
  • Ability to pass a post-offer/pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
