ROLE SUMMARY

As a Pastry Cook I, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods and desserts. Your duties will include regulating oven temperatures, thawing ingredients, and ensuring proper presentation and garnishing of dishes. You will maintain food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared, communicating with the kitchen team during peak service times.

In this role, you will assist in the training and development of kitchen staff, while adhering to all safety and security protocols. You will ensure that your personal appearance is professional and that you maintain confidentiality regarding company information. Anticipating and addressing guest needs will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will fostering positive relationships with team members to achieve shared goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion of a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School program is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a related culinary role is required.

Supervisory Experience: Not required.

Licenses or Certifications: None necessary.
