Healthcare Payroll Specialist

Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Scheduling and Payroll Manager to join our team at Genesis Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the nursing center's labor spend and processing payroll in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control the nursing center's labor spend
- Process payroll in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Balance nursing center staffing needs, employee schedule preferences, and nursing center financial performance
- Lead the nursing center's Labor Management Team to proactively manage the center's labor management performance against Key Performance Indicators
- Maintain nursing center nursing staff coverage at all times
Requirements
- Five plus years of previous work experience preferably in healthcare or long-term care with proven track record in similar position, scheduling, timekeeping, or payroll
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred
