Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of buildings and common areas, including floors, staircases, elevators, and other facilities.
  • Perform visual inspections to identify janitorial needs and report any hazardous or life safety concerns to management.
  • Operate various cleaning equipment and follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and other janitorial supplies.
  • Respond to janitorial requests and perform duties as outlined in work orders or scopes of work.
  • Assist coworkers as needed and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • General janitorial experience is necessary.
  • Ability to use various cleaning equipment and follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and other janitorial supplies.
  • Valid driver's license without any driving restrictions, no DUI or DWI in the past five years.
  • Experience in training others about the use of janitorial materials, material applications, and equipment.
  • Ability to use technology, including software and smartphones.
  • Self-starting capabilities and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Physical abilities include lifting 25 pounds, working at heights, and working in extreme weather conditions.
