Employment Type: Contract/Hybrid
Compensation: $21-$24/hr, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Map all client assets globally into the departmental mapping system.
- Verify the accuracy of assets by cross-referencing with weekly updates from business partners.
- Support internal and external stakeholders by explaining the mapping functionalities of the GSCC.
- Utilize advanced mapping tools/styles for visually impactful presentations.
- Leverage analytical data tools to enrich context by integrating with existing demographic and lifestyle information.
- Assist with data management and entry tasks.
- Provide administrative support to GSCC Supervisors and Managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Geospatial Studies, Geo-Design, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and follow directions.
- Capacity to adapt between calm and high-pressure work environments.
- Willingness to learn new technical systems.
- Demonstrated urgency in a fast-paced, 24/7 work setting for timely responses to critical issues.
- Familiarity with:
VBA (Excel)
Python
Power Automate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, Arcade, Everbridge, Smartsheet, and Datamine.
- Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and interest in security systems, threat analysis, and global affairs.
- Proven business acumen.
