This role is integral to our Quality Engineering division, focusing on enhancing operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:
Implement quality methodologies in the following areas:
design, manufacturing processes, incoming materials inspection, production oversight, product assessment, program efficiency, reliability analysis, inventory management, and research and development as they pertain to product or process quality for both in-house and outsourced products.
Conduct thorough technical assessments by interpreting product specifications, models, designs, and procedural documentation.
Devise and evaluate inspection and testing protocols, mechanisms, and apparatus; execute product quality evaluations, and apply statistical methods to identify products or materials that fall short of established standards and specifications.
Collaborate effectively with program management, engineering teams, manufacturing units, supply chain partners, and clients on quality-related matters to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks and requirements.
Ensure that corrective actions adhere to acceptable reliability standards and meet compliance criteria.
Formulate strategies and systems aimed at enhancing internal and supplier performance and productivity.
Assess quality systems for weaknesses and propose remedial actions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a STEM field (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, etc.)
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a relevant Master's degree. Recognized as experienced, yet still in a learning phase.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing processes such as additive manufacturing, machining, welding, and mechanical assembly
- Certification from ASQ
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Familiarity with industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC, and J-STD)
- Experience in conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) to AS9102 and engaging with government clients

This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens to be considered.
