About the Role

The HVAC Foreman is a key member of our team, responsible for leading and mentoring project crews, prioritizing and delegating tasks, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on time.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and train project crews to ensure successful project completion
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure efficient project progress
  • Communicate with tradespeople on the job site to ensure smooth project execution
  • Track project schedules to ensure timely completion
  • Serve as lead technical resource on assigned projects
  • Report on job status and performance
  • Control job costs
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers, customers, general contractors, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with installation policies and procedures
  • Oversee 3rd party resources and direct the work of apprentices and journeymen assigned to specific projects
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or completion of trade program or technical school
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or related industry/trade
  • Commercial HVAC Foreman experience required
  • Willingness to travel and work nights
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices
  • Ability to organize tasks, use good judgment, and give clear instructions
  • Ability to maintain project labor hours within acceptable limits and request change orders as needed
  • Ability to ensure safe work practices and compliance with safety policies
  • Ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws
  • Track record of punctuality and dependability
  • Ability to use computer tools, including email, word, and project planning software
  • Ability to manage time, delegate assignments, and follow through to ensure good results
