Orlando Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our Clinical Nutrition team in Winter Park. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients, developing and implementing personalized nutritional care plans to promote optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement nutritional care plans based on patient assessment and disease state requirements.
- Counsel patients and/or significant others on nutritional principles, dietary plans, and food selections, considering cultural, religious, and ethnic requests/preferences.
- Communicate appropriate dietary history and nutritional care data through the medical record documentation system.
- Participate in physician and healthcare team interdisciplinary rounds, as applicable.
- Represent Orlando Health through outside speaking engagements to the community and/or media events as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree from a U.S. regionally accredited university or college and coursework accredited or approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Dietetics Education (CADE) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
- Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist with the State of Florida.
