Job Summary

The Mechanical Designer will play a crucial role in the development of equipment for natural refrigerants at LU-VE Group, a leading producer of finned heat exchangers for commercial and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create part assembly drawings based on design specifications, industry standards, and company requirements.
  • Prepare and modify mechanical drawings in a timely manner, working under the direction of the Technology and Innovation Manager.
  • Design and develop complex 3D/2D models of assemblies and components, including mechanical and piping products.
  • Input parameters from 3D models to set CNC machines for producing designed parts.
  • Maintain compliance with tight schedules and effectively manage own time.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a mechanical design role, preferably in the HVAC/R or similar sectors.
  • High school diploma (technical-mechanical specialization) or Associates' degree (preferably in mechanical drafting or similar).
  • Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD (Inventor preferred), Office Suite, and PLM (Teamcenter) and ERP (SAP) systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of manufacturing design principles.
  • Bilingual English – Spanish is a plus.
