About the Role

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a part-time bus driver. This role involves transporting students to and from our programs, including the Safety Around Water/Before and After School Program.

The ideal candidate will have a current CDL, a high school diploma or equivalent, and excellent communication skills. In addition, they must be available to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.

As a bus driver with the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a 15-passenger van or larger vehicle
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, and other stakeholders
