Adult Acute Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Adult Acute Care RN to join our team at Summerville Medical Center. As a key member of our interdependent team, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan to achieve positive patient and departmental outcomes.
Responsibilities- Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients, ensuring efficient flow of patient care, including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care and comfort, and arranging for admissions, testing, and discharges.
- Manage patient records, including posting tests and examination results, and administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans, and respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
To be considered for this role, you must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher, and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice, or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license. A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is also required.
