We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and invasive/interventional procedures, working closely with patients to ensure their imaging needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the special procedures room and/or sterile tray before the procedure begins, ensuring all necessary equipment is set up and ready for use.
- Position patients for examinations and obtain high-quality scout files, when applicable.
- Prepare automatic injectors with proper contrast for procedures, adjusting settings and parameters according to the procedure and radiologist's preference.
- Maintain proper sterile techniques for procedures, practicing aseptic techniques and adhering to isolation and infection control procedures.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- State Registered Radiologic Technician certification.
- Vocational School Graduate.
