Giant Food is seeking a highly skilled Asset Protection Specialist to join our team. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting the company's retail store assets by investigating the loss of assets, including merchandise, money, and property.
Key Responsibilities- Prevent Loss and Shrink: Monitor, investigate, and prevent loss and shrink within assigned stores through surveillance and other LP tactics.
- Internal and External Theft: Detect and resolve internal and external theft incidents.
- Store Safety and Security: Be the primary contact for any safety and security issues for stores in your area of responsibility.
- Store Tours: Tour stores daily, identifying deficiencies and executing corrective action as necessary.
- Shrink Reduction Strategy: Maintain awareness of high-risk areas to reduce/control merchandise losses.
- Shrink Reports: Review shrink reports and assist in reacting to issues and opportunities seen in assigned stores.
- High School Diploma: Required.
- Driver's License: Required for travel throughout multiple stores in a District and/or Region.
- Up to One Year of Related Experience: Required.
- Criminal Laws Knowledge: Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to various state and local jurisdictions.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of all investigation-related information.
- Basic Skills in MS Office: Required.
