About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at ISC Constructors, LLC in Beaumont, TX. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing electrical systems, including rigid, aluminum, and conduit. You will also be required to use mechanical and hydraulic benders, fabricate and install conduit supports, and perform MCC and switchgear work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and install electrical systems, including rigid, aluminum, and conduit
  • Use mechanical and hydraulic benders to shape and install electrical components
  • Fabricate and install conduit supports to ensure safe and efficient electrical system operation
  • Perform MCC and switchgear work to ensure electrical system reliability and safety
  • Troubleshoot energized motor controls to identify and resolve electrical system issues
  • Fabricate and install breakers, fuses, cable trays, batteries, battery chargers, buss duct, junction boxes, and other electrical components
  • Size thermal-overloads, breakers, and fuses to ensure electrical system safety and efficiency
  • Terminate motors, transformers, stress cones, and cable splicing to ensure electrical system reliability
  • Understand and apply hydraulic tool usage, electrical equipment testing, and electrical code requirements
  • Read blueprints and national electric code requirements to ensure electrical system compliance
  • Knowledgeable in communication and applicable electrical OSHA rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • NFPA 70E Training
  • Valid Texas Electrical license
  • Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment
  • Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks
  • Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience
