Position Summary: As a Financial Systems Specialist at Astrobotic, you will be instrumental in facilitating the management of Deltek Costpoint. Your collaboration with the Controller and project teams will be vital in enhancing the Financial Planning & Analysis capabilities of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver daily support for Costpoint 8.1 accounting and finance functionalities
- Assist in the management of financial systems including Deltek Costpoint and Deltek Time & Expense
- Oversee monthly data interfaces and ensure report reconciliation for accuracy
- Contribute to systems development, upgrades, and enhancements
- Serve as a technical advisor for users within and beyond the Finance division
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation
- Identify and resolve systems-related issues
- Support financial and IT audit activities
- Facilitate user training and create educational materials for financial systems
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science
- Experience in project accounting with familiarity in AR/AP processes
- Understanding of journal entries, sub-ledger reconciliation, and Costpoint reporting
- Knowledge of accounting principles, policies, and controls
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel and Access
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct training sessions
- Ability to engage effectively with personnel at all organizational levels
- Possession of a CPA License is advantageous
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $130,000, with the final offer based on individual performance, experience, and organizational goals. Astrobotic provides a competitive total rewards package beyond the base salary.
