Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MRB work statements at the end of the line and perform final product verification during off shifts.
  • Execute a variety of assembly operations, focusing on major structural components such as fuselage panels and bulkheads.
  • Address rework tasks initiated by other departments.

Essential Duties:

  • Stabilize and balance jack systems and cradles prior to initiating skin changes.
  • Remove and replace skins and major MRB components that do not conform to engineering drawings.
  • Transform detail skins and structures into engineering configurations through match drilling processes.
  • Troubleshoot and execute major structural repairs in accordance with engineering guidelines, ensuring compliance.
  • Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and finalize structural and system components, adhering to drawings, documents, and quality control standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years focused on heavy structure and skin change work.
  • Ability to work any shift, with immediate availability preferred.
  • Safety footwear, including steel-toed shoes or boots, is mandatory in shop areas.
  • Adherence to safety protocols, including the prohibition of dresses, skirts, and jewelry in the shop environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Utilize shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments to complete assignments.
  • Verify that work performed meets established specifications and identify any discrepancies.
  • Maintain equipment and tools in accordance with procedural requirements.
  • Support the continuous flow of production by training and assisting team members across various classifications.
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives to enhance inspection skills and qualifications.
