Automotive Sales Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY
This role is accountable to the Sales Manager and focuses on achieving sales targets while delivering outstanding customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market and sell both new and pre-owned vehicles along with financing and ancillary products.
- Promote and sell Finance, Insurance offerings, and Paint Protection services.
- Showcase vehicles to potential buyers, including conducting test drives.
- Report sales activities and performance metrics to the Sales Manager.
- Engage with customers in person to discuss their needs and preferences.
- Negotiate sales agreements and finalize transactions.
- Facilitate the delivery of vehicles to customers, explaining operational features, warranties, and documentation.
- Respond to incoming inquiries via phone, walk-ins, and emails.
- Schedule appointments through online leads.
- Prepare documentation for vehicle purchases.
- Conduct outreach to potential sales leads.
- Coordinate with the body shop to ensure timely vehicle repairs.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Collaborative team player in a dynamic sales environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse clientele.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Prior experience in retail or a related field.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with individuals at various levels of understanding.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
