Key Duties- Analyze project documents and specifications to determine the scope of work
- Research material, labor, and subcontractor costs to develop accurate estimates
- Create detailed estimates, including takeoffs, labor, material, and equipment
- Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and related technical documents
- Collaborate with project managers and preconstruction teams to gather necessary data
- Prepare and submit complete and timely bid proposals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market pricing, and construction methods
- Evaluate risks and assumptions to ensure realistic and competitive proposals
- Participate in hand-off meetings to support project execution
