Key Account Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Specialist to join our team at Building Automation Products, Inc. (BAPI). As a Key Account Specialist, you will play a critical role in selling BAPI's HVAC/R sensors to customers, utilizing your technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence purchasing decisions and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Market Strategy and Customer Engagement: Develop and execute market strategies to drive sales growth, research customer needs, and establish long-term relationships with customers.
- Sales Forecasting and Planning: Work with customers to develop relevant sales forecasts, research and develop lists of potential customers, and provide market research to inform product development.
- Product Marketability and Evaluation: Evaluate product marketability in terms of customers' technical and manufacturing needs, and provide input on product development and modification.
- Sales Presentations and Closing: Develop and deliver sales presentations, close sales in a professional and effective manner, and maintain up-to-date awareness of industry trends and government regulations.
- Customer Service and Support: Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure they are up-to-date on needed information, and resolve problems with products and services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: Associate's Degree or Trade/Technical School in Electronics, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- Training and Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word), strong written and oral communication skills, and three (3+) years' experience in sales.
- General Experiences/Knowledge/Skills: Strong customer focus, positive attitude, professional and friendly phone voice and manner, time management ability, attention to detail, flexibility, and exceptional communication skills.
