Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse Job Description

PRIDE Health is seeking a skilled Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing opportunity in the United States.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting. As a travel nurse with PRIDE Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and families, and to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the emergency room setting
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the United States
  • Experience working in a pediatric emergency room setting
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
