As a Day Shift Delivery Vehicle Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Fostering a culture of ethical behavior, safety, and compliance
- Protecting company assets, including donated items
- Keeping accurate records such as Vehicle Logs and daily Trip Sheets
- Providing basic oversight for assigned Truck Helpers
- Reporting mechanical issues with vehicles
- Communicating any delays, accidents, or transportation issues to headquarters
- Loading and unloading vehicles, containers, and trailers
- Maintaining effective communication with headquarters
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles
- Inspecting truck equipment and supplies (tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water)
- Performing additional duties as required by business needs
QUALIFICATIONS

We provide an excellent training program to equip you with the skills needed to succeed as a Truck Operator. However, certain skills are beneficial from the start:
- Effective communication, including the use of positive language with colleagues
- Attention to detail while managing multiple tasks
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively
We prioritize a supportive work environment and expect the following:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- Valid CDL License
- Minimum age of 25 years
- 6 to 12 months of commercial truck driving experience
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and comprehend operating and safety instructions
- Proficiency in using a dolly, pallet jack, and lift gate
- Flexibility in work schedule and regular attendance is essential
- Availability to work weekends
