Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Michaels Inc. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including dusting and damp mopping floors, collecting and disposing of trash, and cleaning assigned areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service, helping customers shop our store and find what they're looking for.
  • Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
  • Deep clean key areas of the store, including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways, and other high traffic areas.
  • Notify supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
