Job Description:
Ethos Medical Staffing, a nurse-owned and operated company, is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical team.
Responsibilities:
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including gamma cameras and PET scanners
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
