Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our acute care rehabilitation team. As a Clinical Speech and Language Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote patient recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with communication and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments and tools.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and reports.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing techniques.


Requirements and Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and hold current licensure in the state of Illinois (or Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin). You should also have experience working in an acute care setting and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
