Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician - Endoscopy Specialist to join our team at St. John's Riverside Hospital. As a key member of our endoscopy department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist in preparing patients for surgical procedures, including setting up equipment and supplies.
- Participate in the observation of patient conditions and promptly report any changes to the responsible nurse.
- Respond to patient needs and refer requests or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare surgical case set-ups, instruments, and supplies, and maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized surgical suite, and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Certified Surgical Technician or certified eligible required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Experience in OR and Endoscopy preferred.
