Critical Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
About the Role:As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our ICU setting. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Your expertise and experience will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices
- ASN/ADN from an accredited program, with the ability to obtain BSN within four years of hire
- Current Colorado RN license or compact license
- Current BLS certification, with ACLS/NRP/PALS as required for the unit
- Minimum one year of nursing experience in an ICU setting
- Two years of nursing experience
- One year of critical care experience, including ICU or ED
This role requires ongoing visual and auditory attention, as well as manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform patient care tasks. You will be expected to lift and move patients, as well as navigate crowded and busy environments.
