As a Seasonal Property Caretaker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the visitor experience across our diverse landscapes, including farms, parks, and serene woodlands.

About the Role:

Our seasonal staff are essential in ensuring that guests can fully appreciate our remarkable sites. With the arrival of warmer weather, we welcome an increase in visitors eager to explore and connect with nature. The properties under our care include stunning locations such as World's End and Weir River Farm, along with various woodland areas featuring tranquil walking paths.

The role involves routine upkeep of these properties, which encompasses maintaining fields, trails, gardens, and various natural and cultural features. Daily tasks may include:

• Maintaining parking areas, trails, and fences
• Performing landscape maintenance such as mowing and brush removal
• Using carpentry tools for building upkeep
• Collecting litter and debris
• Watering newly planted trees
• Assisting with seasonal events
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• Experience with ride-on mowing equipment (preferred)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Additional Requirements:

• Successful completion of a driving record check and background screening

Work Environment:
This position primarily involves outdoor work with power equipment, necessitating the use of hearing protection and other personal protective equipment.

Physical Demands:
This role is physically demanding, requiring the operation of equipment and tools on uneven terrain.
