Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Adult Urology team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide direct patient care, collaborate with colleagues to coordinate patient care, and contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards of practice and policies of the organization.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept student nurses and new hires.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
Requirements
  • Accredited nursing program and current RN license in the State of Florida.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • One year of RN work experience.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing, walking, and lifting patients, as well as working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
