CVS Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Omnicare team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of medication dispensing and inventory management in our closed-door pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rotate and work in various assigned pharmacy workstations, including packaging, staging, returns, receiving, and purchasing/inventory management.
  • Receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, and rotate stock, working with an automated system to manage pharmacy stock and source products from pharmacy vendors.
  • Perform physical inventories of medication and maintain accurate records.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day and be able to stand for most of the day.
  • Proficiency with computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Work in a team setting, demonstrating methodical and detail-oriented skills.

Requirements
  • 1 year of Pharmacy experience or 1 year of inventory management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience managing inventory (stocking, replenishing, purchasing, etc...).
Education
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
Compensation

The typical pay range for this role is $26.21. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
