Job Summary:
Performs standard and specialized Cardiac Ultrasound studies associated with the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac disorders. Also performs standard and specialized studies associated with the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts Cardiac Ultrasound studies to diagnose and treat cardiac disorders.
- Performs vascular studies to diagnose and treat vascular disorders.
- Collaborates with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Develops and implements treatment plans based on study results.
- Provides exceptional patient care and education to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), or Registered Vascular Technologist (RCVT) certification.
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in Cardiac Ultrasound, EKG testing, Cardiac Stress testing, Peripheral Vascular testing, or Nursing.
- Advanced coursework in cardiovascular peripheral diagnostics and vascular testing.
- EEG, EKG, and ABG training, PFT training, Stress test training, IV skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered as RDMS, RCS, or RCVT.
- Advanced training in cardiovascular peripheral diagnostics and vascular testing.
