Catering Attendant Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Catering Attendant to join our team at Eurest. As a Catering Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering and serving food at scheduled functions, ensuring the accurate execution of all events during your shift. You will also be responsible for setting up and serving at functions, cleaning event areas during and after events, breaking down the setup, and returning leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
  • Log and maintain food temperatures.
  • Arrange tables and decorations.
  • Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests.
  • Thoroughly clean location after event is completed.
  • Return food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to catering facility.
  • Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
  • Stock, clean, and maintain catering facility and equipment.
  • Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license may be required; must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.
