Job Summary

The Culinary Specialist works in a team environment to prepare high-quality food items for the buffet. This role requires adherence to strict food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare a variety of food items using standardized recipes and methods of preparation.
  • Maintain kitchen and personal safety and sanitation, as well as care of kitchen equipment.
  • Operate a range of kitchen equipment, including stoves, broilers, deep fryers, and other food prep equipment.
  • Replenish prep line food items as necessary to ensure proper presentation and availability for guests.
  • Respond to guest preferences and concerns in a positive and respectful manner.
  • Ensure proper food storage and serving temperatures.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events and varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate with team members, management staff, and guests in a clear and respectful manner.
  • Professional training through a culinary education or experience in a high-volume restaurant or catering facility.
  • High School Diploma or related food service job experience.
  • Valid gaming license from the Gaming Commission.
