We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a PCU Charge Nurse at North Mississippi Health Services.

About the Role:
  • Employment Type: Staff

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, quality patient care and documenting accordingly. They will work closely with the Nurse Manager and Educator to ensure compliance with all NMHS policies and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient/family education and act as a resource for existing staff and new employees.
  • Attend the Preceptor class to ensure proper training of new employees.
  • Maintain communication with multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care to the patient.
  • Lead daily huddles on each unit to ensure proper assignments and identify team members for the shift.
  • Delegate tasks to be completed during the shift to ensure EOC guidelines are maintained on a daily basis for Joint Commission compliance.
Requirements:
  • Licensed by the board of Nursing for the state.
  • Complies with regulatory and accrediting agency requirements.
