Physician - Otolaryngologist Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Otolaryngologist to join our team at Ascension St. John in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a key member of our ENT practice, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various ear, nose, and throat conditions.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
- Recommend and participate in efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization.
- Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, as requested.
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.
- Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
- Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.
