About the Role

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Tenure-Earning Faculty Chair, Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics. This is a key leadership role that will provide strategic direction and oversight to the department, as well as scientific direction to the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resource.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a large and diverse department of faculty and staff.
  • Provide scientific direction and oversight to the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resource.
  • Build relationships with faculty and staff across the Moffitt Cancer Center to promote a collaborative environment.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, or a related field.
  • Relevant research training and experience, currently at the Associate- or Full Professor-equivalent rank.
  • Minimum of five years of experience at the Associate Member/Associate Professor level.
