As a Radiology Technologist at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Diagnostic Imaging team. Under the guidance of our experienced professionals, you will perform a variety of radiographic procedures, applying ionizing radiation to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ERCPs, video fluoroscopies, OR procedures, lumbar punctures, bronchoscopies, enteroclysis, sialo grams, rhizotomy, facet blocks, endoscopy, J-tube placements or injections, t-tube cholangiogram, major trauma/trauma bay, neo-natal ICU, pacing lab, and other critical care procedures.
- Demonstrate competency in troubleshooting equipment problems and obtaining nursing assessments while nursing is unavailable.
- Notify nurses and document all infiltrates and reactions, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Quality-check images before sending to radiologists, including markers and pertinent information for dictation.
- Document additional information in PACS or EPIC as needed, ensuring seamless workflow and patient care.
- ARRT registration
- SCRQSA license
- CPR certification
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in PACS and EMR
