Job Summary:

The Information Systems Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems. This includes conducting security assessments, preparing system security documentation, and performing security upgrades for live networks, desktop systems, servers, and enterprise databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement security plans and procedures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the implementation of security controls and measures.
  • Perform continuous monitoring of security controls to ensure they are operating effectively.
  • Develop and maintain system security plans, security impact analyses, and other security-related documentation.
  • Participate in security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in information systems security, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of NIST publications and privacy frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud service models, hybrid models, financial applications, and mobile security technologies.
  • Current certification in one or more IT security disciplines, such as CRISC, CISM, or CISSP.
Preferred Skills:
  • Splunk Engineer experience.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.
