University Hospitals is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Concord/Geneva. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in facilitating unit operations and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patient flow and assist with front desk duties, including scheduling patients and collecting patient information.
- Perform basic Medical Assistant duties and maintain accurate records.
- Comply with all policies and standards, including maintaining Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program (Required)
- CMA preferred
- Able to communicate effectively with people from varied socioeconomic backgrounds
- Able to organize changing work assignments
This is a part-time position, working 16 hours per week out of our Concord office and Geneva Office. The ideal candidate will be able to stand frequently, walk frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds.
