Join Our Team at Woodland Manor Nursing and Rehab
Woodland Manor Nursing and Rehab is looking for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential care and support to our residents. As a member of our compassionate healthcare team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
As a CNA, your duties will include:
- Utilizing your knowledge and skills to assist residents with various needs, including therapeutic care, neuro and dementia support, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease management, and wound care.
- Delivering nursing care in alignment with established Resident Care Policies and Procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of all residents.
- Collaborating effectively with the Charge Nurse and participating actively in the interdisciplinary team.
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and bathing as per their Care Plans.
- Ensuring residents are mobilized according to their Care Plans.
- Engaging with residents, families, and staff in a supportive and respectful manner.
- Performing additional duties as assigned to uphold the Care Plan.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- An active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, having successfully completed a state-approved training program and examination.
- Documentation of certification upon application.
Work Environment:
This position is set in a long-term care nursing home, offering various shifts including day, evening, and night options, with a weekly schedule of Monday to Friday and rotating weekends.
Physical Setting:
In-person work is required.
