Job Summary:
The Postpartum Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care to new mothers and their babies in a hospital setting. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a compassionate bedside manner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to postpartum patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on postpartum care and newborn care
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Dakota
- Experience in postpartum nursing, preferably in a hospital setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of postpartum care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
