Key Responsibilities:

  • Protecting Assets: Safeguard highly valuable property, including equipment, materials, and grounds.
  • Patrolling and Monitoring: Patrol assigned areas and stand fixed posts to maintain a visible presence and deter potential security threats.
  • Safety and Security Checks: Perform regular safety and security checks of buildings and grounds to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Access Control: Verify the identity of individuals on the premises and ensure they possess proper authorization to be present.
  • Incident Reporting: Complete incident reports as required to document security-related events.
  • Camera Monitoring: Monitor the in-house camera system and report any findings to ensure the safety and security of our guests and employees.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests and employees, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Escorts and Support: Provide escorts to in-house staff as required and offer support during events and activities.
  • Safety Equipment: Set up and maintain safety equipment related to event needs, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.
  • Investigations: Conduct preliminary investigations into incidents within assigned areas, gathering information and evidence to support security-related decisions.
  • Disturbance Response: Intervene in disturbances and incidents to maintain peace and restore order, ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.
  • Event Support: Set up and remove barricades, temporary signs, tables, and other materials for parking and crowd management, supporting the success of events and activities.
  • Equipment Operation: Proficiently operate safety and security equipment, including cameras, alarms, and other devices.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as directed by management, supporting the overall success of the ASM Global team.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in an indoor and outdoor environment, exposed to various weather conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must possess a valid Louisiana driver's license or State of Louisiana ID at time of appointment.
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
