About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with our AC2 team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers. As a Software Development Engineer III, you will be responsible for delivering software projects and driving key engineering and business decisions that impact Amazon's software stack on AWS.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver software projects, owning all aspects of the software lifecycle - design, development, documentation, testing, and operations
- Partner with the leadership team to drive key engineering and business decisions that will influence and impact Amazon's software stack on AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational issues

Requirements
- 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 6+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

What We Offer
The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market.
