Orthopaedic Surgeon

Position Overview:

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time faculty partner to join an established practice in Greensboro and Asheboro, North Carolina.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in treating conditions related to hand, wrist, and elbow in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Clinical Focus:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of 10 hand partners, 3 hand fellows, and 90 total faculty members, with 25 orthopaedic residents and 8 fellowships in the department.

Teaching Opportunities:

Orthopaedic hand fellow teaching, clinical, and laboratory research opportunities are available.

Collaboration:

The department offers seamless referrals and collaboration with a team of 10 hand partners, 3 hand fellows, and 90 total faculty members.

Call Expectations:

Call duties will be discussed with the successful candidate.

Support:

APP and clinical support is provided.

Qualifications:

Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, or General Surgery with a fellowship training in hand and upper extremity.

License:

Eligibility for the NC Medical License is required.
