Assembly Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Stellant Systems. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing brazing operations, documenting work, and ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities
  • Perform brazing operations defined on furnace tickets
  • Document work into computer, on log sheets, and on furnace tickets
  • Load and unload furnaces, handling assemblies with fixturing that can weigh up to 40 pounds
  • Visually inspect furnaces, including heating elements, seals, and loading equipment
  • Check for hydrogen leaks and perform safety inspections on hoists
  • Periodically check furnace temperature with analytical devices
  • Work with other departments to identify and implement corrective actions related to brazing operations
  • Identify areas for improving own work and maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Maintain barcode accuracy at 100%
  • Coordinate with previous shift on status of in-process activities and inform next shift of status
  • Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on equipment as specified
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required
  • Prior experience with heat treatments preferred
  • Able to perform mathematical calculations and possess good mechanical aptitude and dexterity
