Job Title: Welder/Certified Pipe Welding Instructor

At Illinois Welding School, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder/Certified Pipe Welding Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing quality instruction to our students and ensuring they receive the best possible education in the welding trades.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach a range of classes in SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW on plate and pipe in all positions.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized welding shop.
  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, welding symbols, and pipefitting materials.
Requirements:
  • Ability to weld pipe and plate in all positions.
  • Strong communication and people development skills.
  • Problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Motivated and professional with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time.
