Merchandise Planner

Roses Discount Stores is seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Planner to join our team. As a key member of our Buying team, you will be responsible for developing strategic merchandise plans that drive sales and gross margin growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement merchandise plans that meet sales and gross margin objectives
  • Collaborate with Merchandise Managers, Buyers, and Merchandise Analysts to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Analyze sales trends and lost sales opportunities to inform merchandise decisions
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in merchandise planning or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
