Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Student Affairs Advisor to join our team at Computer Systems Institute Inc. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to students, support academic processes, and help organize campus events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to students on campus, including monitoring attendance and assisting with SAP appeals.
  • Present new student orientation and distribute textbooks at the beginning of each quarter.
  • Responsible for creating campus events and calendars, and guiding continuing students on maintaining F-1 status and work authorization.
  • Make outbound calls to remind students of upcoming deadlines and school policies.
  • Provide technical assistance to students regarding online operating systems and provide guidance on non-academic issues.
  • Organize and assist with student events, including enrollment/registration, International Student Festival, and off-campus field trips.
  • Consistently abide by FERPA regulation in regards to student information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Practicum Responsibilities
  • Manage all practicum initiatives and resolve student practicum issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct practicum site assignment orientation workshops and monitor student evaluation outcomes.
  • Locate, acquire, and maintain the Practicum Employer Network to sustain and create employer partnerships.
  • Maintain consistent documentation on all practicum-related activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of two years full-time work-related experience.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including ability to interact professionally with students, staff, faculty, and the general public.
