Interventional Radiology Technologist

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will assist radiologists in interventional procedures and operate advanced imaging equipment in areas like the OR and Endo. Your expertise will be essential in administering ionizing radiation, operating x-ray equipment, and taking diagnostic radiographs. You will also provide patient services utilizing diagnostic imaging modalities and practice sterile technique when required.
Responsibilities- Assist radiologists in interventional procedures
- Operate advanced imaging equipment in areas like the OR and Endo
- Administer ionizing radiation
- Operate x-ray equipment and take diagnostic radiographs
- Provide patient services utilizing diagnostic imaging modalities
- Practice sterile technique when required
- Completion of formal radiologic training from an AMA-approved school
- Meets requirements for registry by ARRT
- Texas Department of Health Certification in Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) or Texas Medical Board (TMB) licensure
- Current BLS for healthcare provider
- Two years of experience in radiology
- Prior experience in special procedures and/or operating room and/or endoscopy
- Ability to operate C-Arms and OR/Endoscopy equipment
